The Solution
Instead of sending users straight to Swiggy or Zomato, we built a simple, smart funnel:
1. A Custom Landing Page
When users clicked the "Order Now" button on the ad, they landed on a clean, simple page with two clear choices:
- Order on Swiggy
- Order on Zomato
This let customers pick their favorite app while giving us one single place to track everything.
2. Smart Ad Timing
We scheduled the ads to run during the restaurant's active hours (3:00 PM to 12:00 AM). This made sure the ads hit people right when they were starting to feel hungry for dinner or late-night snacks.
How We Ran the Campaign
Simple Ad Structure & Budget
We kept the campaign clean and easy to manage by using two ad sets under one main campaign:
Ad Set 1: Finding New Customers (₹200/day)
Goal: Reach new people in Greater Kailash, Delhi (within 3 miles).
Targeting: People interested in Chinese food, noodles, momos, Swiggy, Zomato, and online shopping (Ages 18–65).
Ad Set 2: Retargeting (₹100/day)
Goal: Remind people who already knew the brand.
Targeting: Instagram engagers, Facebook page visitors, video viewers, and recent landing page visitors.
Ad Creatives & Special Deals
Theme: "Cravings Strike in GK"
Visuals: Mouth-watering food pictures and videos meant to grab attention in the first 5 seconds.
App Deals:
- Zomato Offer: 50% OFF
- Swiggy Offer: ₹99 Deals
Full Tracking & Analytics Setup
To make sure we knew exactly where orders were coming from:
- We installed the Meta Pixel on the custom landing page.
- We tracked button clicks for both Swiggy and Zomato separately.
- We used custom tracking links from both delivery apps to confirm actual purchases.
- We combined landing page data with purchase reports to keep improving the ads.
